Our Partners
Since the Ironmongers’ University Scholarship Scheme was first set up in 2007, the Ironmongers’ Company has formed strong partnerships with several companies and organisations that support the scheme. Please click on the logos at the bottom of this page to find out more about them.
Some of our partners have chosen to support a particular student – paying £5,000 per year for the duration of the student’s degree. Others have chosen to donate a lump sum towards the scheme. This gives them access to a ‘pool’ of talented undergraduates committed to careers in engineering and materials science available for work placements in the summer holidays. With the continued help from partners, the Ironmongers’ Company aim to sponsor five new students each year.
All the money donated by our partners goes directly to supporting students, and the Ironmongers’ Company helps to make sure the relationship between sponsors and scholars is a mutually beneficial one. To find out more about the scheme please use the links below.
