A beautiful almshouse in Basingstoke
Geffery’s Fields is a sheltered housing scheme owned by the Sir Robert Geffery’s Almshouse Trust and supported by the Ironmongers’ Company.
It was founded under the will of Sir Robert Geffery in 1704 who left money to the Ironmongers’ Company to build almshouses for the poor.
Geffery’s Fields is an almshouse located in Basingstoke, Hampshire. It has 52 newly refurbished one-bedroom flats (16 for single people and 36 for couples).
It has a 24-hour emergency call system and support from an on-site Warden during the day.

Be able to look after yourself and your flat (no cooking, domestic help or nursing is provided)
Please note that residents are not permitted to have dogs and cats in their flat.

Please note that residents pay for electricity, gas, council tax, internet and a TV licence (free for any residents over the age of 75). A concessionary TV licence is available to residents under the age of 75.
